I developed the brand identity and created all the print, digital and social media marketing collateral for the Physical Product Showcase (September 2019).
The PHYSICAL PRODUCT SHOWCASE is one of the headline events at DENVER STARTUP WEEK. This is an event where you can see, taste, touch and feel over 45 new products on the Colorado market. And get to know the makers’ stories about the development of their products. It is a loud and fun, with music, drinks, exhibits, fireside chats and prize drawings! The industries featured include outdoor recreation, food & beverage, skincare, health tech, vet tech, IoT, fashion, entertainment and more.
The branding had to satisfy the need to promote this event as serious, featuring highly-credentialed products and panel speakers. At the same time, the planning committee wanted to make this a fun event with a party atmosphere. In addition, I was restricted to the Denver Startup Week overall branding guidelines. The result being a serious, yet fun logo, using all the colors available in the DSW brand standards. The fonts and multiple colors adhere to the guidelines. The varied squares are an echo of the many varieties of products being featured at this event.
